X5 remote

Press and Hold “Set” button until yellow light is solid. Press the button you want to program (Menu, Mute, AV/TV), the yellow light will start to blink. Now point the remote that you want the X5 remote to learn from at the front of the X5 remote (Front to Front) and press the button that you want the X5 remote to learn. The yellow light will blink fast and then turn solid if it has received the signal. Now press and hold the “Set” button until the yellow light turns off. Test to see if the X5 remote has learned the function of the button you just programmed. If it does not work the first time try once again. Make sure that the yellow light blinks fast after pressing the button you want it to learn as this indicates that the X5 remote has learned the function. The X5 can only learn IR (Infrared Signals). Most remote controls use IR, but some of them use radio frequencies and cannot be learned by the X5 Remote Control.

Android TV Box – Adult Streaming Do’s & Don’ts

Mar 14, 2016 3 months ago No Comments
adult streaming

Adult Streaming Do’s & Don’ts SkystreamX Android TV Boxes give users access to all kinds of video content from all over the world. In addition to being able to stream TV Shows, Stream Movies and Live Streaming Sports there is also adult content. With our Android TV Boxes you also have access to the internet and the Google Play store. This gives the user many different avenues for different content. With all of these different avenues for content we always like to write an articles on do’s and don’ts to give our users a clear picture on how to get certain types of streaming content. Android TV Box Adult Streaming When it comes to adult content there are 3 main places you can stream it on our Android TV Boxes. Adult Streaming using the Browser We highly recommend not using your browser to search for adult content. The main reason is the same reason for computers – Viruses. As with any computer when you start going to iffy websites you open yourself up to viruses. Viruses can cause tons of problems on an Android TV Box just like a PC. Websites and developers who create malicious viruses used to only create viruses for computers, but as traffic from mobile devices has exploded many of these developers have switched over to making viruses for mobile devices (Phones, Tablets and Android TV Boxes.) Some of these viruses are mostly harmless and install a different browser, but some of them can steal your personal information and some install code that basically makes your device useless. So please do not search and watch adult content on any Skystream Android TV Box using the browser. One of the most common calls we get are from people who were searching for adult content on the browser and then started experiencing issues. We normally do a factory reset to remove everything and start them from scratch. Adult Streaming Content Apps Downloading adult content apps is one of the worst ways to stream adult content. As we stated earlier, developers have noticed the huge spike in mobile devices and traffic over the past few years. Many of these predatory developers have switched from computers to mobile devices. The reason that downloading Android Adult streaming apps is that a developer can create an app specifically for Android that has viruses in it. Many people download an app, install it without reading all of the permissions that you are granting the application and end up with a program on your Android Streaming Box that now has way more access then an app should. When you install any app on Android you are giving that app certain permissions on your device. This is why downloading apps from unknown sources can put you at risk. We tested downloading a bunch of adult content apps using google searches such as “Porn App Android and adult streaming APK,” on a blank Android TV Box with no personal information. We downloaded 5 of the top Android apps that…

Android TV Box or Streaming Media Player?

Mar 14, 2016 3 months ago No Comments
Streaming Media Player

Android TV Box or Streaming Media Player? We have had our SkyStream box called many things. We have heard them call Android TV Boxes, Streaming Media Players, Stream boxes, Mini Computers, Sky Storm Boxes and many other variations. So what exactly is a SkyStream Box and why do we call it an Android TV Box? Many of the words used to describe streaming devices in the industry we feel are very vague. Streaming Media Player, Streaming box, Set Top box and Mini PC aren’t very descriptive and don’t really tell people who are new to streaming what they actually do. Someone who has never streamed anything besides a YouTube video will look at you puzzled when you tell them to get a Set Top Box or Streaming Media Player. That is because all of these terms are industry terms that kind of caught on, but were not very descriptive to the customer and does not tell the customer what it actually does. Here at SkyStream, we have always used the term Android TV Box for all of our streaming media players. We felt that Android TV Box told the customer that it was a box that ran on the Android operating system and connected to their TV. But recently, we have asked a few of our newer customers who were new to streaming and free streaming if they understood what Android TV box means. Many people had no idea what it meant and told us they saw our TV box at a friend’s house and bought one. Some people knew that it was a TV box, but thought we just called it Android. They did not realize that the player actually ran the Android operating system. Some people had no idea it was a streaming device. They thought that all of the content was stored on the Android Box and they just played it. So we wondered if there was anything we could add to Android TV Box to make it more apparent what it actually does without trying to create a whole new keyword combination. We came up with Android Streaming TV Box. While we can’t explain the entire product in a single keyword combination, we thought that adding the term streaming to the name would give people with less experience with these types of streaming media players a better idea that it streams content. We feel that it covers all of the bases in a short name. Android – This devices runs the Android operating system Streaming – This device streams content like you tube and other online streaming websites TV – This device connects to my TV Box – This is a small device / computer or mini PC Now that we have decided on the name Android Streaming TV Box we can move away from the generic streaming media player or streaming set top box. Now that we have gotten that all squared away we can get into what an Android Streaming TV Box actually does. We…

What is Real Debrid?

Mar 14, 2016 3 months ago No Comments
real debrid

What is Real Debrid? In this article we cover what Real Debrid is, how it works, how much it costs, and if it is worth the cost. What is Real Debrid? To understand how Real Debrid works we first have to learn how streaming in Kodi works. Most add-ons do not host any of the content that can be viewed in them. Most add-ons like Exodus, 1channel, SALTS, Icefilms, etc, act as search engines for streaming content. When you search for something, the add-on scrapes the sites where the file is actually hosted and displays a clickable link directly to where the file is hosted. Once Kodi connects to the link it begins to stream. Most of these hosted sites make money through advertising views and monthly subscriptions. The links that you are clicking on in almost every Kodi addon is in the host sites free section. Most of these sites limit the size of the files in the free section (Mainly HD files over 1 Gb.) They also throttle the amount of data they give out in the free section. Long story short, there are two different sections to most of these host sites. This is where Real Debrid comes into play. If you were to buy a subscription for each host sites premium section the cost would get very high. Real Debrid gives you access to many host sites premium section for one cost. We will cover the cost for Real Debrid later in the article. How does Real Debrid work in Kodi? Real Debrid works by allowing add-ons like Exodus, SALTS, 1Channel, Velocity, and Release Hub to scrape the premium section of many host sites and displaying the premium links in the add-on. Some add-ons display the Real Debrid links in different colors (Salts), Some display them by just showing saying Real Debrid at the beginning of the link (Exodus), and some add RD in the link (Velocity.) At the end of the day Real Debrid give addons that are compatible with it the ability to provide more links to the specific content you are trying to view. Many of these links are 1080P, 720P and some of them even have Dolby Digital 5.1. But HD is never guaranteed. How much does Real Debrid cost? Real Debrid offers 4 packages – 15 days, 30 days, 90 days and 180 days of access. 15 days – 3 Euros = $3.27* 30 days – 4 Euros = $4.36* 90 days – 9 Euros = $9.81* 180 days – 16 Euros = $17.44* * – All conversions for pricing fluctuate with the currency’s value and can change daily.   Is Real Debrid worth the cost? We have been using Real Debrid for quite some time and feel that it is a fantastic service. We like to think of it as the VIP section of Kodi. We find that the links are normally very reliable and occurrences of buffering are definitely reduced. But just like anything else, nothing is perfect. As…
